Sharon Anne grew up in the tri-cultural area of Northern New Mexico. Born in Santa Fe, and raised in Tierra Azul, N.M. Sharon attended schools in Los Alamos, Abiquiu, and Española. Her lineage journeyed from the Basque Country and Spain, to Coahuila Mexico, and from Diné Bikéyah in the Four Corners Region of the Southwest. As a Diné woman, she would introduce herself as being Naakaii (Mexican). Born for the Tó'aheedlíinii (Water Flows Together clan). Her maternal grandfather is also Naakaii and her paternal grandfather is 'Áshiihí (Salt clan). In the summer of 2016, Sharon first set foot in front of a camera as a featured background alongside A. Martinez on Season 5 of "Longmire." The same year, the Diné actress secured a featured role in Scott Cooper's period Western, "Hostiles." As an artist, she signs her work DezBaa, "She's Going on a Raid" in Diné Bizaad. A name that was given to her by family friend and the first Navajo physicist, Fred Begay. Previous to her acting career, Sharon worked as a geologist for the Navajo Nation and continues to work as a massage therapist whenever she is needed. Her past stage performances were in grade school when she danced Ballet Folklórico in the ninth grade, and appeared once in a high school drama production of "Our Town." Most fondly, she played a cycad in a Montessori production of Dinosaur Valley--or some musical involving dinosaurs--in Kindergarten. As a child, her favorite dinosaur was the ankylosaurus - the living tank of the late Cretaceous. She also adopted a stray dog.
